This position will focus on the origination and project development of utility-scale renewable energy projects (primarily wind, solar and storage) across Canada with a focus on Ontario. The individual will work with the Project Development team to identify and secure new sites, evaluate project acquisition and investment opportunities, bring contracted projects to construction ready state and work with other members of the development team to build the project portfolio and achieve corporate objectives.
70 – 80% of the time is spent in office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Project), telephones and general office equipment. 20 – 30% of the time is spent attending conferences/events and in the field; identifying and developing projects and meeting with stakeholders such as community leaders, neighbours and landowners.

Salary range: the full salary range for this role is [CAD $84,200 to $140,300]. The target range for this position is [CAD $112,200 - $125,000]. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
